Artemis International Expands Global Presence with new Partner in Mexico Siproco Asociación Profesional Alliance Brings Industry Leading Portfolio Management Software and Services to Mexican Market NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., December 11, 2003 – Artemis International Solutions Corporation (OTCBB: AMSI) today announced a new distribution and support partnership with Siproco Asociación Profesional. The partnership will allow Artemis to penetrate the Mexican market with its industry leading portfolio, project and resource management software and Siproco to leverage it’s business and technology consulting services to Mexican companies and government agencies.
This partnership provides an integrated offering to Mexican businesses and government agencies to improve planning, budgeting and portfolio management through a structured, repeatable process, supported by industry leading software to enable the implementation of these processes throughout corporations and government departments and agencies.
“Mexican companies face challenges in managing their significant investments and assets,” says Patricia Zalce, general manager of Siproco. “First, they lack the background and experience to design new business and financial planning processes that will stand the test of time. Secondly, they lack enabling software to make implementation of these new processes both easy and effective. Our partnership with Artemis International delivers on both of these challenges.”
In the last decade the Mexican economy has grown significantly, and Mexican companies are now some of the largest and most successful in Latin America. With more evidence that the economies of Mexico and the United States are closer than ever, both are impacted by increased globalization and e-commerce, as well as the increased competition from China and the rest of Asia. Mexican companies, therefore, like their counterparts in the US, are under increased pressure to streamline operations, and ensure optimal economic performance. “This scenario creates a unique opportunity for the combination of Artemis’ portfolio and project management solutions, and Sirproco’s proven business and technology consultancy services,” said Mike Rusert, president and chief executive officer of Artemis.
